We are very excited to share with you the invited speakers for the plenaries and plenary panel. You can find more information about all of them in the plenary sessions section.

  • 7 September – The plenary speaker will be Alis Oancea (University of Oxford), who specializes in research philosophy and research policy and governance studies. She is also an expert reviewer of grant proposals to the Horizons 2020, FP7 and FP6 of the European Commission, among others.
  • 8 September – The plenary speaker will be Lev Manovich (The City University of New York). He is a digital culture theorist, writer, and his current research focus on digital humanities, social informatics, new media art and theory, and software studies.
  • 9 September – Finally, there will be a plenary panel. The speakers are Diana Hicks (Georgia Institute of Technology), distinguished researcher specializing in metrics for science and technology policy, and Addy Adelaine (Ladders4Action), international social worker and expert in action research and inclusive accountability. Juan Gorraiz, senior researcher and founder of the Bibliometrics and Publication Strategies Department of the Library and Archive Services of the University of Vienna, moderates this panel.

All those interested in these sessions will be able to attend live via streaming, even if they are not registered at the conference. This is an activity that we are offering openly to the whole community. We will give more details about it soon.
